My name is Mrs. Amy Work, NCTM, a Distinguished Private Piano Instructor located in Raleigh, North Carolina with over twenty-five years of teaching experience looking for students who are hard working and ready for success!

I hold a Bachelor's degree from George Mason University, a Piano Pedagogy degree from the Levine School of Music and am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano. I am dedicated to sharing my passion for music with interested students of all age groups and skill levels.  My main priority is to bring success and positivity to each one of my students, so they can become skilled musicians who can play and enjoy the piano for the rest of their lives.

I host annual recitals, competitive and non-competitive events and conduct frequent group classes in a professional environment.  My private and group class schedule offers structured and customized piano lessons for each individual student that focuses on sight-reading, theory, technical work, music artistry and concert preparation for optimal growth and development in music education. Your children will develop a love and appreciation of music through my quality instruction in a fun and loving environment that will last a lifetime! In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, skiing, traveling with my family and performing with the worship team at my church!

I am a senior member of MTNA, NCMTA, Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, Cary-Apex Piano Teachers Assocation, and the North Carolina Federations of Music Clubs.
